I am happy to post the first photo in the Desolation X-library that has been uploaded by one of you visitors, namely Mikael Granqvist from Umeå, Sweden, who shot the following photo with his digital system camera. His own desription of the photo is as follows:
Lost during autumn. Forgotten during winter. Dead by spring.
I took this one on a spring walk a couple of years ago. I saw something in a shrubbery next to the bicycle path so I made my way through it and took a shot at it. I like the feeling of desolation and forgottenness in this picture.
Jag tog den här på en vårpromenad för några år sen. Såg något i ett buskage bredvid cykelbanan, så jag krälade in och fotade. Jag gillar den övergivna, bortglömda känslan i bilden.
